What 337,842 Noillirk runs actually scored

Every closed Daily publishes its full score distribution — not just the top 100. Collected side by side, those boards answer the question a player actually has: how good is the crowd, and where does a normal run land?

#18, #17 is still open — those figures climb until the board closes, and are left out of every total above.

The average run never leaves one band

Restate each day’s average as a single question — divide by 25, the sum of the run’s multipliers — and every day with a real field lands between 49.0 and 73.6 points. That is squarely between Runner-up (75) and Top 5 (50).

13 different prompt sets, tens of thousands of players a day, and the crowd’s habit does not move: people name a good answer, roughly a top-five answer, and stop there. The distance from that to 2500 is not knowledge — it is naming the most obvious answer instead of a defensible one, ten times running.

A perfect run is a 1-in-a-few-hundred event

1,149 runs out of 337,842 finished on 2,500. Per day that ranges from 0.08% to 0.59% of the field — one perfect run per 169 players on the kindest day, one per 1,296 on the harshest. Ten correct guesses in a row against a managed estimate of what 100 people would say is a genuinely scarce outcome, which is why the score bar tops out there rather than at a rounder number.

The Krillion-style mode is a different game

Same ten prompts, inverted rule, and 0.7% of the players. Its averages sit far below the main board because the rarest-answer rule cuts the other way: an obvious answer scores nothing, and the field spreads out instead of piling into one band. If you want to see what “being the crowd” costs you in points, the two boards on the same day are the cleanest comparison the game offers.

-1 days from nobody to 51,674

The first board closed with 44,067 players ; the busiest so far, #15 on 29 Oct 2026, drew 51,674. Worth remembering when a score feels low: the field grew by a factor of 1 , and the average barely moved.

Where the numbers come from

Noillirk’s own leaderboard page for each date, which prints the player count, the average and the full 250-point histogram. Collected once a day by scripts/sync-noillirk.ts; a closed day is never re-read because it cannot change. The ten prompts behind each day stay on the game’s own archive.
